Carpenter’s Care is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Palm Harbor that seeks to provide widows and other persons in need, within our congregation, with practical, general home maintenance and repair services.
This ministry is generally intended for widows within the Calvary Chapel Palm Harbor fellowship. However, we are also happy to serve older gentlemen and families that are no longer able to make small repairs on their homes.
What services do we provide?
Yard cleanup, especially after storms
Hang curtains, mirrors, pictures
Small wall patch and paint projects
Caulking small cracks
Minor plumbing leaks, outside the wall
Minor carpentry work
Furniture assembly/disassembly

We are not able to provide the services listed below, but we can help you find an honest contractor.
Major electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work (nothing “behind the wall”)
Roof repair or second-floor gutter cleaning
Foundation repair
Appliance installation or removal
Ongoing, repeat tasks like mowing
Major (whole room, whole house) painting

Who will come to my house?
Depending on the type of work needed we will find a volunteer who is suitable. We will come in pairs to ensure we are able to get the job done on time.
What can you help with?
Think of what your husband would have done for which you did not have to call a specialized contractor.
If there is something that you need to be done is not on this list but is also not on the “cannot provide” list, let us know and we will do our best to assist.
